The "aaaaahhhhh" factor.....

I love animals, and I love capturing them on film (or on my hard drive these days!). My finished project

Proudly introducing...my very first finished handmade blanket...lovingly created stitch by stitch with mine own fair hands! I want this to be called my Heirloom Blanket, I have a misty-eyed daydream of passing this onto my grandchildren (yes I am only 32, no I DON'T have any yet!) in years to come, and explaining to them that I made it when I was younger, etc etc...it makes me smile! Anyhow, I am really proud of this, it took me a long time to make. I am now working on a blanket for my god-daughter's birthday in September, but with bigger squares in pink, white and black only.

The first!!!!

Helloooooo there!!

This is all new to me, so please be patient until I get my wings! My plan for this blog is for it to become a kind of diary through which I can share my thoughts, philosophies, hobbies, what I have photographed/made/read/decorated with icing or listened to, where I have been, the funny/silly/cute/plain daft things that happen in life, what makes me laugh, cry, or just stop.....and think......
